Rubbed lavender (20g).

Harvested specially at the bud stage, the lavender is dried and the flowers are rubbed from the stalk. We sieve the rubbings to remove as much stalk, leaf and fine dust as possible. However this product will contain traces of leaves and stalks.

Varieties available:

Intermedia varieties (Seal/Bogong/Grosso) which have a paler blue/purple colour and slightly sharper scent

Angustifolia varieties (Pacific Blue/Avice Hill) which have a blue colour and sweeter scent

Midnight Blues which has a very deep blue colour

The sharper scent of the intermedia is due to a higher camphor content and this makes it better for discouraging moths, though not as effective as mothballs.
